Chris McIlroy

As owner of Travel Inspirations since 2000, and working in the travel industry for over 30 years, Chris is still passionate about everything travel related, but best of all, I am proud of offering a customer focused service that you cannot find online.

Having clients come home after a wonderful trip, saying it surpassed their expectations and had a WOW factor is what makes Chris tick!

Having travelled to most continents, (but not all as YET), it is hard to choose a highlight because each and every destination, and style of trip is different. India, for an authentic cultural, historic, emotional and recent 50th birthday celebration was a big tick off the bucket list. Cuba was another eye-opening experience and one that I am thankful that I had the opportunity to discover it’s authenticity and make a positive impact on locals. For wildlife experiences I cannot split between a Kenyan Safari, seeing Tigers in the wilds of India, or cruising the Galapagos.

Closer to home, the Kimberley region for it’s stunning colours and vastness is high on the list. But again, splitting between that and the iconic spiritual feeling when you get up close to Uluru, or swimming on many of our West Australian, Queensland and NSW beaches or our beautiful reef all bring back fond memories.

Good travel designing creates an emotional connection with people, places, cultures and food and I strive to make sure that every client experiences that special feeling and creates lifelong memories.
